How is the Wood x Carbon Slim Wallet made?

1. The veneer for the wooden wallet is scraped from the trunk of the Khaja tree in a thickness of 0.3 mm and put on a roll. During the process, the wood veneer is pressed and sanded until they are 1mm thin.
2. The veneer is pressed onto carbon plates, which is 0.8 mm thick.
3. The carbon plates with wood veneer are soaked in epoxy resin.
4. After drying, the parts are put into the machine under a lot of heat and pressure. Depending on how much pressure and heat is applied, the color of the wood changes once again.
5. All parts are sanded by hand at the end.
6. The Wood x Carbon Fiber plates are manually screwed and individually assembled by us.

Is the wooden wallet RFID protected?

Yes and No. Carbon fiber can affect and interfere with a signal like RFID, but this protection is no longer effective against powerful RFID readers. We recommend an RFID protection card or our RFID blocker configuration with aluminum coin holder and inlay for the Wood x Carbon Fiber wallet. When you purchase an AVIATOR Wood x Carbon Fiber Slim Wallet, you will receive a free RFID blocker card.

Will a Wood x Carbon Fiber Wallet cut my Jeans?

No. Our Carbon Fiber Wallet has smooth and rounded edges, so it will not damage your Jeans.

How many coins fit in the wooden Slim Wallet?

Depending on your currency, you can accommodate up to 8 small coins or 4 large coins.

How to care for my wooden Wallet?

Should your wallet come into contact with splashing water, you can simply wipe it off with a dry cloth. Due to the epoxy resin content, the wood veneer does not absorb as much water as solid woods, but you should avoid completely submerging the wallet in water.
